Britni is from Atlanta and graduated from Auburn University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Admin, and has been working in the Hospitality industry since 2006 (remotely since 2008).
Britni has been a Navy spouse since 2007 and is a self-proclaimed “Expert Googler” and seasoned Networker.
Powered by the underemployment and unemployment issues in the military spouse community, MilSpouse Resource was created in November 2015. MilSpouse Resource was created to share remote work and entrepreneurial ideas along with other helpful and valuable information.
Britni is behind OakTree Network, a gig network website, which was launched in 2018. The network was created exclusively for military spouses to connect and hire each other for local and virtual gigs.
Britni is also a nominee for 2018 and 2019 Military Spouse of the Year, and for good reason. She is active in several groups within the military spouse community, and over the years has served as spouse club president, treasurer, social chair, and a several different group committees. She is an advocate of all things military spouse related.
Britni is a professional, podcast host, milspouse cheerleader, Mom, Navy spouse, lover of ghost stories, and wanna be yogi (in no particular order).
Since the creation of the MilSpouse CoffeeHouse Podcast, Britni has learned that there is a need and want of community with military spouses, and many of the new spouses don’t know where to look. She is passionate about military spouse employment, entrepreneurship, and the creation and curation of community.
